Welcome to Greenup, IL which is the home to MTI’s main repair facility. The terminal is managed by Bob Tucker and has a total of 41 employees.
Ben Moore, Aaron Powers, William Phillippi, Brad Keller, Shane Buchanan, Mike Stewart, Dennis Weiler and Greg Russell are the first shift mechanics. Chris Oakley, Tyler Carl, Bill Hurt, Jason Carter, Robert Pendlay are the second shift mechanics. Third shift mechanics are Jason Myers, Shane Stoltz, Tim Drake and Andrew Tingley. The trailer shop runs two shifts, Ed Kemper, Chet Orsborn, and Ken Graham on days and David Abbott and Jeff Starwalt on evenings to handle all types of trailer repairs. Lonnie Barnes is the body shop technician who handles hood, fairing and fiberglass repairs. Brandon Ault and Albert Elliot work in the detail shop and get the trucks cleaned up so that they are looking good on the road. Greenup is the home of 1 full time tow driver, Glen Breedlove, and has 2 mechanics that can fill in on towing as needed. Jim Hites is the full time service truck technician who covers Greencastle, Indianapolis, Chicago, Evansville and Carbondale. Kevin Jamison road tests all tractors repaired at Greenup while shuttling repaired trailers to the storage lot in Effingham. Aaron White is the parts manager and along with Chris Daugherty and Levi Connour handle parts for the terminal. Bill McNurlan, Galen Andrews and Mike Rabideau are the shop foremen for the facility. Luther Morris is the custodian for Greenup but helps in the areas of test driving and swapping out straight trucks. Brad Biggs heads up the shuttle department from Greenup to facilitate swapping out repaired units. Other departments with their office at the Greenup location are Larry Jansen from the safety department, Joel Jackson route supervisor, and Lowell Henderson the maintenance director. Brenda Tucker is the office clerk for the facility.
